JSC Lomisi is announcing a vacancy for the position of Finance Controller in Natakhtari.
Main duties / requirements
- Assists in preparing long-term/short-term strategic plans and in determining optimum investment strategies;
Performs top-down, risk-based approach in assessing and reporting on internal control;
Develops/updates test plans to evaluate the existence and design effectiveness of processes and controls, including testing of controls to ensure that they are operating effectively, and that there is sufficient evidence of procedures being performed;
Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting processes and procedures;
Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, composes summary memos, and prepares working papers;
Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed;
Communicates exceptions resulting from the testing phase to appropriate level of management for agreement and remediation; evaluates testing deficiencies according to framework;
Analyzes company debt load and recommends structuring and refinancing alternatives with banks and other lending institutions;
Creates effective ways to produce timely financial reports, insurance coverage, legal matters, strategic reviews, etc.;
Develops monthly financial statements for management and recommends ways to improve financial reporting.
Job's
qualification / skills:
- University degree
Preferably 2 years of experience in Finance/Audit
Good knowledge of Accounting principles
Strong organisation and planning skill
Good people management skills;
The ability to motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas;
Analytical ability;
Initiative and decisiveness;
Problem-solving skills and ability to work on a tactical and strategic level.
