JSC Bank of Georgia, a leading Georgian universal bank, is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Auditor (Crediting) in Internal Audit Department.
Main duties / requirements
Position purpose: Perform specialized audit assignments in order to assess the compliance of credit operations and accompanied business processes with the Bank’s key internal controls and country legislation.
General responsibilities:
Obtain audit evidences using audit program;
Meet the Bank’s clients or third parties in order to make close studies and verify banking operations detected using audit program;
Process data, fill in audit working papers and prepare reports;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job's
qualification / skills:
- Education: BBA in Finance, Banking or Accounting; MBA is preferred.
Work experience: At least 1 year work experience in credit risks and/or business loans in a bank is a must.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Knowledge of loan products, services and procedures;
Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting principles;
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel; Experience in processing fair-sized information; Knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook;
Good knowledge of English language (written and verbal); Knowledge of Russian is preferred;
An ability to search for/analyze complex information; Report writing proficiency;
An ability to effectively work with external legal texts and internal procedures;
Exceptional analytical skills;
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and correspondence management skills;
Demonstrated impartiality and integrity;
Principle- and initiative-driven, with strong sense of responsibility;
Travel requirements in Georgia’s regions are 40%.
